My friend Luke Fortizzo took some great surf pics at Oceanside Harbor in late December. I took
the liberty working a few of these shots into photo-illustrations. Lately, I have been really into movie artwork, especially that of the late 80's/early 90's. The theme of this series is meant to be like the Running Man meets North Shore. The story of surfers who have to battle against the most treacherous of conditions and deadly creatures, just to stay alive.

I got out of San Diego for a few nights and visited my parent's in LA. Their house is right at the base of Topanga Canyon and the Santa Monica Mts. It's always a pleasure being up there, a great escape from the distractions of SD and just a beautiful area. There was a section of bike jumps up on Mulholland drive that I was stoked to find. It brought back memories of my bmxing days and building dirt jumps guerilla style.
